Fred T. Hall, 55, director of the Buffalo NY Museum of Science and former director of the Davenport Public Museum died Friday at his home in Hamburg, NY.  Mr. Hall served as director of the Davenport Public Museum from 1949 until 1951, when he accepted an appointment as director of the Buffalo Museum. During his directorship at the Davenport Public Museum, Mr. Hall introduced a new educational department, which included loaning books and display items to Quad-City schools.  He had illustrated textbooks,, charts and pamphlets and had several papers on natural sciences published. A native of Crawfordsville, Ind, Mr. Hall graduated from Wabash Collee there and later studied at Rochester, NY Institute of Technology. From 1939 to 1940 and from 1946 to 1948 he was associated with Ward's Natural Science Establishment, Rochester, NY a well-known museum supply house. A veteran of WWII he was discharged as a captain in the coast artillery anti-aircraft where he served as an officer of intelligence. Among the survivors are his wife; two sons and a daughter. -kbz
